un·a·shamed

/ˌənəˈSHāmd/

adjective

expressed or acting openly and without guilt or embarrassment.

As Christians we know that the Bible says not to be ashamed of Christ, but we have allowed religion to cause shame in our young believers.

Let me explain…

Romans 1:16 says: I am not ashamed of the Good News. It is the power of God. It is the way He saves men from the punishment of their sins if they put their trust in Him. It is for the Jew first and for all other people also. NLV.  So therefore at The Unashamed Network we are all about being bold, courageous, and unashamed to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

At The Unashamed Network we also stand firm on not allowing religion to cause shame in your life. Christianity is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ, but over time that has turned into tradition and religion. Tradition and religion cause shame, or condemnation. God wants to share His love with you. He does not want to condemn you or make you shameful. Romans 8:1-2 says: Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

As young believers who love God we encourage you to be bold about your walk with Christ! Be confident in His love for you, and never allow anyone to make you feel shameful for messing up because God has already forgiven you and is welcoming you back with open arms…EVERY TIME!

Love, peace, and grace.
